We have decorated our torn paper ghosts with newspaper and googly eyes but you can opt to draw on the eyes using a black Sharpie or similar pen or even tear out the eyes and mouth before sticking onto black paper.
How about creating a haunted house on black cardboard and decorating it with your torn paper ghosts? Make a ghost garland by attaching the ghosts to string or yarn. Add to black card to make a ghost gift card. Or stick them on your wall to decorate for Halloween. Make sure you let us know how you have used your torn paper ghosts by leaving us a comment below!
Materials Needed
- White paper. We used A4 size.
- An old newspaper and scissors.
- Glue stick.
- Googly eyes.
- Black Sharpie or other pen.
- Black cardstock or paper.
Let’s Get Creating
Start by gathering all of your supplies. We tore the A4 size paper into 5 pieces but you can make more mini ghosts or fewer large ghosts per sheet of paper. Once the paper is torn into smaller sections go around the edge of each piece and tear the paper into a ghost shape.
Now it is time to decorate your ghosts! Cut out eyes and a mouth from a newspaper or draw these details using a pen. Googly eyes are always fun to add and make the ghosts extra adorable. Stick these on with the glue stick. Use the glue stick to glue the completed ghosts onto black card or paper.
